Data controller
The website lafabriquegenerale.com is published by Captain, a French SAS with a share capital of €106,380, 293 boulevard Saint-Denis, 92400 Courbevoie · RCS Nanterre 984 422 519 (see the legal notice).
For any question about your personal data: contact@lafabriquegenerale.com.
02
Data collected
Quote requests: the information you send through the contact form: identity, contact details (email, phone), organisation, nature and date of your project, as well as where your visit came from (campaign source, landing page), so we know through which channel your enquiry reached us.
Browsing: anonymous visit statistics produced by our own tools and stored on our servers (audience measurement exempt from consent under CNIL rules, never shared), and, only with your consent, audience-measurement and advertising-performance data sent to our partners (page views, interactions, campaign identifiers). See the Cookies section below.
03
Purposes and recipients
Your data is used to handle your quote request, organise your event and manage the client relationship. It is never sold.
Technical service providers (processors): website hosting by Vercel, secure storage of enquiries by Supabase, sending of confirmation emails by Resend. These providers process data on our behalf and under our instructions.
Measurement and advertising partners (only with your consent): Google (Tag Manager, Google Ads: conversion measurement and campaign performance), Meta and OpenAI (pixels with your consent; the measurement of quote requests coming from their ads is, however, sent from our servers on the basis of our legitimate interest, without cookies). Contact details are sent to them in hashed form, never in clear text.
Phone call tracking (Dexem, no cookies): to measure calls generated by our advertising campaigns, the number displayed on the website may be replaced by a tracking number. This system works without cookies but keeps an anonymous session in your browser for 30 minutes (random identifier, landing page, referring site, ad click identifier), which is sent to Dexem to link the call to the campaign. It is based on our legitimate interest in measuring the effectiveness of our ads and does not allow us to identify you or track you across other websites.
04
Retention periods
Quote requests and the related correspondence are kept for the duration of the commercial relationship, then for a maximum of 3 years after the last contact for prospecting purposes.
Your cookie choice is kept for 6 months, after which you will be asked again.
05
GDPR & CNIL compliance
In accordance with French Law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended (Informatique et Libertés) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679), the processing carried out is based on pre-contractual measures (your quote request), our legitimate interest (client relationship management) and your consent (measurement and advertising cookies).
The French data protection authority, the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL), can be reached at www.cnil.fr.
06
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to, restrict and port the data concerning you, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
These rights may be exercised by email to contact@lafabriquegenerale.com or by post to Captain. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
07
Cookies
On your first visit, a banner asks for your consent, purpose by purpose. Nothing other than necessary cookies is set until you have answered.
Necessary (always active): operation of the website, storage of your consent choice (lfg_consent cookie, 6 months) and of your language preference FR / EN (lfg_lang cookie, 12 months), the draft of your quote request (for the session) and where your visit came from (90 days), attached to your enquiry if you send one.
Internal audience measurement (exempt): our own visit statistics, anonymous and never shared (cookies _lfg_cid, 13 months, and _lfg_sid, 30 minutes; data kept for 25 months on our servers). Under CNIL rules they do not require consent. Declining “Audience measurement” in the banner nevertheless disables them.
Audience measurement (with your consent): visit statistics via Google tools.
Marketing (with your consent): Google Ads conversion measurement and audiences, Meta pixel (cookies _fbp / _fbc, 90 days), OpenAI Ads pixel (cookies __oppref / __obref: conversion measurement for ads shown in ChatGPT). If you decline, the measurement of quote requests coming from OpenAI and Meta ads is still carried out from our servers, without cookies, on the basis of our legitimate interest.
Call tracking (no cookies, outside the banner): the Dexem system described above sets no cookies and is not subject to this choice; it keeps a 30-minute session in your browser's local storage.
You can change your choice at any time. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it:
